Do you miss BarCamp Tampa Bay?

I think we all miss BarCamp, the people, the donuts, and especially the talks.

While we are planning on hosting a face-to-face BarCamp in the fall, some of us can’t wait that long. So, on Thursday, March 18th at 8 pm (Tampa time) TechNova will be hosting a live mini-BarCamp Tampa Bay on Club House.

Stay tuned for the link, follow BarCamp on Twitter for updates.

Speakers at a Barcamp

What kind of sessions and speakers can you expect?
This is a day of learning for our attendees who represent all coding languages and supporting technologies in the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas. Expect some very exciting sessions planned for and by our developer community with related topics such as  User Experience (UX), design, startups and many more.  We have a number of videos of sessions posted on our YouTube channel. This video is a compilation of BarCamp topics and can be found here. If you have a topic you want to share with the tech community, BarCamps by tradition do their sign ups the morning of the event on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration starts at 7:45am and sessions begin at 9:00am. Sessions last 50 minutes and we recommend that you plan for about 20 to 25 minutes for your presentation followed by an interactive question and answer session. If you would like to learn more about how to do a BarCamp session, you can check here or here.
